Synopsis: My Father and My Son tell the story of an estranged son (Sadik) who had been politically active as a university student and became a journalist against his father’s (Huseyin’s) will. When military coup hits the country Deniz’s mother dies giving birth to him and Sadik is taken into custody and undergoes a series of tortures, trials and jail time.
